Lesson 5 - Social Media

LESSON 5 - SOCIAL MEDIA

Social media is an incredible tool to reach HUNDREDS, or even THOUSANDS of people who are LOOKING for the SOLUTIONS that YOU now hold in the palm of your hand as a new coach! BEST PART, you don't even have to leave the comfort of your own home to be a part of helping them to get started! (Being an introvert myself, that was the BEST NEWS EVER! Haha!)

Problem is, people have been BOMBARDED with SALESY ADS for YEARS and they often become a coach and all of the sudden think they should DO that type of advertising to find customers! WRONG! In fact, quite the opposite needs to happen! Take the idea of SELLING and throw it out the window --- this is not about CONVICING people to buy --- it's about sharing your journey and INSPIRING them to start their own!

Here are a few of the DO's & DO NOT's you should know as a brand new coach!

OSTING IDEAS:

When you start as a coach, it is easy to get caught up in all the excitement and want to post non-stop about the business and fitness, but remember, there is SO MUCH MORE to you than being a COACH and it's going to be the unique story you share that will make people connect to YOU as their coach rather than to someone else... So be sure to share ALL aspects of what makes you UNIQUE! Coaching is just PART of who you are!:)

For example: The 5 things I post about MOST are MY PERSONAL GROWTH, MY FAMILY, MY LOVE OF FREEDOM, MY FITNESS, AND MY NUTRITION!

People know that when they come to my page there will be no NEGATIVITY, only things to inspire them and add value to their life! & because I am CONSISTENT with my content --- I ATTRACT like-minded individuals into both my Challenge Groups & Coaching Team naturally!

I have found that IDENTIFYING what my brand is and WHO I am and portraying that through my posts and pictures has allowed me to connect with more like minded people!

This is a great video to start out with as well to learn some great tips!

1. Today your goal is to post 3 times on FB on 3 different topics that are important to you (family, food, nutrition, photography, travel, fashion, whatever!) making sure that each has a eye-catching image, adds value, and has a call to action. One should be Beachbody related in some way. But only 1, not all of them.

2. I highly recommend checking out these Facebook tips created by two coaches on our team as well.

*Reminder - as a new coach you may not get a lot of interest in your posts! That is OKAY and very normal! It takes time for people to trust you, AND they actually may not see your posts! FB shows your posts to people who you have been in contact with lately - that is why it is important to get involved and grow your affinity on Facebook. ALSO - people are watching even if they do not comment or LIKE:)
